I recently ran a competition in conjunction with Dina Baroutsos from My Wedding Web. What started out as a simple “Win an E-shoot with Dee During Photography”took legs and became quite a thing.

The lucky couple – Deidre & Terrick – ended up winning a fabulous make-over with Linda Cook, a dress and suit for the day, a limo ride to and from the venue, a picnic at Pampoenkraal which coincidentally happens to be their wedding venue anyway, an afternoon shoot with me and a Photo Book to round it all off.

What a divine couple to photograph! They arrived from a guesthouse in Durbanville in their own private Limo (blinged up with neon lights and smoke machine, champers and sounds) – it must have been quite a ride.  A mischievous lass, Deidre definitely took the lead and Terrick –  cuteness personified just went with the flow.   We traipsed around in the lush greenness that is Pampoenkraal, hardly illicitating a look from the cows and horses grazing in the far off fields.  The couple had a  lunch packed for them thanks to the venue and after a bit of posing and giggles, they settled down to snack on their picnic.  Love the pix of them re-enacting the proposal with Dee pretending to turn him down! Best wishes with the wedding guys. Hope the happiness and love just continues to flourish.
