A new love affaire with food photography
Food photography has become a new passion of mine. Hardly surprising considering that I love food and I love photography <3.
I was recently commissioned to do the photography for Bread & Butter – the rather magnificent little coffee shop located in the Sunningdale Lifestyle Centre.
Brain child of the extremely clever and passionate Eileen, assisted by her very hardworking and perpetual food tasting husband – Stephen. Bread & Butter is so worth a visit, no matter where you are.
The food is unashamedly wholesome and home made. The Barista knows his stuff and is happy to serve a double shot for anyone needing a little wake up call. My absolute fave on the savoury side is the Chicken Livers – so bad I know – but so terribly yummy. Their salads are also to-die-for. Crisp, fresh and interesting with a delish homemade sauce to lather it in (or not!). There is puhlenty of temptation for the sweeter tooth – way too much to list here. Perhaps its wiser to pop in and sample their fare yourself (Lemon meringue………just saying).
And, aside from their delicious culinary temptations ~ they have also an array of hand-selected (and reasonably priced) giftware. Beautiful ceramics made by Hayley Seton-Smith, beautiful goodies for around the house and lovely stuff to spoil yourself or a friend with. The sweetie selection gets my husband everytime. Nougat and chocolate whirls! OMW.
