Beautiful You | A new idea | Teen Photoshoots | Mom ‘n Daughter photoshoots
Its one of those ideas that’s still taking shape. Teen Photography appears to have a little gap in the market all over, which is weird. Also, there are a million wedding and family photographers out there. I love Boudoir photography but us Capetonians are generally a little shy.
Having lacked serious confidence as a teen, despite (according to my folks) being quite pretty and skinny (Wednesday legs), I want to use my skills as a photographer to show young teenagers how beautiful each and every person is. No matter how tall or short, pimply or olive skinned, straight hair or curly, quiet or flamboyant. With the odd prop and some good humour, some soft light and gentle encouragement I’d like to portray the bits that make a young girl (or guy) so beautiful – purely by virtue of the fact that they are who they are.

A lovely quote to keep in mind:
“Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature’s laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to by keeping it’s dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.”
