HAY YOU!!!
KZN Weddings ~ Kirst & Wayne
Its taken me a long while to work out what I’d like to say about this wedding. There’s so much. I don’t want to leave stuff out but I also don’t want to ramble on :-).
When I first met Kirst & Wayne, I knew immediately that I was more than happy to shoot their wedding. They both had such a gentle, warm vibe about them. We went on to do their E-shoot down at the river (Mooi) and had so much fun at the time, I knew without a doubt that the wedding was going to be lovely. Well. It was so much more than that. Its not always that you get two people, that you just know, deep down, are so totally meant for each other. Who seem to just get each other and more than anything, really respect each other. The foundation for a long lasting marriage I’m told (by my very experienced parents who’ve been married for over 50 years).
I hope I’ve managed to tell your story in the images below. Watch how the anticipation, the nerves, the last minute details, the tears and the laughter unfold. A lot of these images are the in-between-moments that I love so much. For me, they speak volumes.
The ceremony, the speeches and indeed the huge party afterwards, were a magnificent testimony to the love that you two share, not only with each other, but also with your friends and family. It was truly an honour to be a part of this and to have the opportunity to capture these memories that I hope will last you guys a life time.
