KZN Food Photography | Flavour Cafe
Nothing beats working with passionate foodies. I think I’m pretty passionate when it comes to food but when you’re photographing somebody else’s baby, you realize, there’s passion and then there’s PASSION.
For the first time ever, on this particular shoot for Flavour Cafe in Pietermaritzburg, I decided to use a food stylist to assist in the process. Despite the fact that I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to my shoots and I prefer to work as a solo crusader, it was amazing having some creative and styling input from food stylist, Ronwyn van der Riet. Watch this space for future collaborations with this dynamic chick.
Chef and owner, Lee Hankey was a legend. He helped churn out some gorgeous looking plates and then let us do our thing. It’s taken quite a while for me to blog this post, but here it is. Let your tastebuds take a stroll.
