Weddings | Intaba View, Drummond | Paddy & Megan – Part 1
One thing about moving to a new Province and being a wedding photographer; just about every location is unchartered territory.
Megan and Paddy decided to hold their wedding at Intaba View. Located right in the Valley of a Thousand Hills – the Kingdom of the Zulu. The area is named for the thousands of hills which tumble down to the almighty Umgeni River. Flowing from the Drakensberg mountains into the Indian Ocean. Needless to say, the views are amazing.
The couple decided to have their ceremony and reception at one place and wanted it as close as possible to Hillcrest, making it more accessible for family and friends.
Megan’s colour scheme was an incredibly vibrant blue, purple and green. Her sister, Candice, bridesmaids, family & friends all helped with the decor and little touches. The end result was a wonderful country-styled wedding.
The bridal party all got ready at Mulberry Guesthouse (stunning little gem nestled in a hillside on a 22 hectare wildlife farm).

Assistant Photographer – Chris Ainslie
A special thanks to my assistant – Chris Ainslie for handling the Groom and Best men shots as well as a few pick up shots leading up to the reception.

Rain was predicted for the day but thankfully held off until much much later. Hence the gorgeous wellies and brollies we had to play with.

What a beautiful beautiful bride you were Megan and oh what a dapper husband was Paddy.
